One Heart is tackling a major problem facing African communities: gender inequality. We are currently raising much needed funds to establish One Heart Tanzania, which will provide safe accommodation and medical care to victims of severe physical and sexual abuse, as well as counselling to address the trauma experienced by these young girls.
One Heart Tanzania will also build schools and learning centres to educate and empower women prior to being integrated into their local communities.
